According to the Kansas City Star, the United States Chamber of Commerce, which has endorsed Republican Rep. Roger Marshall for the U.S. Senate, will endorse Democratic Rep. Sharice Davids in the Kansas 3rd Congressional District race.
Most political watchers see this as a sign that the Chamber believes Marshall will defeat Democrat Barbara Bollier, and that Davids will defeat Republican Amanda Adkins.
Should the Chamber be complimented for hedging their bets on who they think will win?
Or should they be criticized for not sticking with a candidate like Adkins who is more likely to be in line with the Chamber’s beliefs?
Of course, since it’s 2020 and anything can happen, maybe the Chamber figures that if Adkins pulls it out, she’d support them anyway.
