In March of this year, the KCStar Editorial Board wrote a piece filled with venom and hate about Secretary of State Mike Pompeo entitled, “A Mike Pompeo candidacy? Kansas doesn’t need the secretary of state’s kind of swagger”.
They spelled out that they don’t like Pompeo’s ideas, they don’t like that he contradicts the foreign policy of Barack Obama, and they certainly don’t like that he has “swagger.”
Heck, they hate him so much that they compared him to (gasp!) Kris Kobach!
(Dig deeper and you can probably find mentions of kicking puppies and stomping on sunflowers.)
So their editorial today haranguing Pompeo for his visit to Wichita is nothing new.
- They’re mad at him because they didn’t like his answer to one of their questions.
- They’re mad at him because no matter how much they type that he’s a bad man, people still see him smiling while taking selfies with the locals and Ivanka.
- And they’re mad at him because if he ran, he would upset their dream of Senator Barbara Bollier.
Get this straight, Kansas Republicans: no matter how reasonable you may be, no matter how much the electorate agrees with you and no matter what you say, the Leftist machine will ALWAYS come after you.
They do it now to Pompeo.
They’ll double-down if he decides to run.
And if doesn’t decide to run, they’ll continue to hammer him, while they diss Roger Marshall, Susan Wagle or Kris Kobach. Well, AND Kris Kobach.
And it’ll be the same for Sara Hart Weir and Amanda Adkins, since they dared to run against the KCStar’s candidate.
If you haven’t already, get used to it.

Speaking of the 3rd District candidates, Sara Hart Weir will be on the Could Be Big podcast on Monday, and Amanda Adkins will be on soon after.
It will be lively and hope you give it a click and listen!

Driving around noticing the right-of-way sign forests, came upon this one:
Boy, that’s a pretty harsh stance for Olson to take!
I mean, what does Position 2 know and when did they know it?
(We kid, Robert Olson! We kid!)
