The Kansas City Star’s Melinda Henneberger weeps today for Rep. Sharice Davids and the Democrat party because the Woke Police stormed Davids’ 3rd district office and demanded that she side with them on border security issues.
Henneberger laments the protesters’ Holocaust references and claims that Davids doesn’t care about “the children!”
Of course, Henneberger notes that Davids did the exact same thing just a few months ago — but now has to be “careful” in order to stay in office.
Ohhhhhhhh. So she’s saying that sometimes Members of Congress can’t just bend to the will of the mob, and have to consider the interests of all of their constituents?
Interesting. Interesting.
Of course, this is something that Republicans have been dealing with for YEARS.

The Woke Police declared that Sharice Davids is now racist because she disagreed with the strategy of The Squad and others.
Woke Police, is it reasonable to have a differing opinion on this issue?
For instance, on the issue of border security, Trump and Republicans have been called racist for wanting to build a wall — or otherwise prevent people from crossing over the southern border with impunity.
People from Nancy Pelosi to the Pope suggested that “we shouldn’t build more walls!” and “walls never stopped anyone” and such other garbage. This isn’t hard. You could look at that large — some call it “great” — wall they built in China; or you could look at those rather large walls that actually surround and protect the Pope’s home in Vatican City; or you could look at, literally, the walls that already exist at the U.S.’s southern border.
And everyone knows this.
Months ago, the President and others suggested there was an emergency going on at the southern border. Yet Democrat leaders not only pooh-poohed this idea, but said Trump and Republicans were racist for suggesting something needed to be done to stop illegal immigrants from marching in.
Quick question: would they be coming if they knew there was no way to enter except through U.S. Customs? Noodle that one.
Pretty basic cause-and-effect, right?
Easy to get in. People rush the gate. People get caught. Have to have people wait somewhere — can’t just let them run free (and save the discussion of “seeking amnesty” for another day; seeking a “better life” is understandable, and maybe admirable; but that’s not amnesty). And now they are in an over-crowded facility.
And for the dipwads calling them “concentration camps” — the Jews in Hitler’s Europe didn’t walk into the camps, and they didn’t have the choice to simply leave the camps, if they wanted to walk the other direction.
We are now at the point of the poor Democrats, like Sharice Davids, who think that being “moderate” with a D next to their name gets them a pass from the Woke Police.
And when that doesn’t happen, enablers like the KCStar’s Melinda Henneberger cry “unfair!” and “but…but…Trump!” to no avail.
It’s cute that Henneberger and Davids are just seeing this now.
You disagree with the Woke Police, you get called racist.
Those are the rules of the Far Left, and that has been the case for a long time.
